The Center is a non-profit organization that operates year-round.We are solely supported by sponsorships, contributions, grants and program fees. We seek to tell our story to a diverse audience of all ages from Nebraska, the nation and around the world to increase awareness and apprciation of the Platte river ecosystem.
We appreciate your interest and look forward to sharing more with you as we move forward.
The Nebraska Nature & Visitor's Center offers an ideal location for nature tourism, educational programming, conferences and interacive environemtnal exhibits. The center includes two classrooms, a conference room, exhibit area, offices, kitchen, gift shop and internet access.
Other features of the center are a 35-foot high observation tower on the bank of the Platte River and a handicapped accessible pedestrian bridge leading to prairie, river-edge and riparian forest walking trails.
